Job summary

Moseley is seeking a full-time Energy Modeler to join the Energy, Asset Management + Sustainability team in Raleigh, Richmond, or Charlotte. You will create detailed energy models for various building types, assist with LEED and ENERGY STAR programs, and help maintain reference materials for project teams and clients.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field and 2+ years in design or construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in design or construction industries preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed energy models for various building types.
• Assist with energy programs and certifications such as LEED, ENERGY STAR, and Green Globes.
• Support design teams in comparing building systems and their energy consumption.
• Develop tools and templates to optimize energy modeling.
• Maintain organization of reference materials for easy access.
• Coordinate with client services to provide information for project sheets.
