Job summary

Constellation is seeking an Analyst to study energy markets, identify commercial opportunities, and optimize wholesale transactions. You will develop pricing models, analyze forward prices, and partner with internal and external clients to drive gross margin.

The role requires strong data skills, ability to work with AI tools, and willingness to travel as needed; January 2027 or Summer 2027 start dates are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and work in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to summarize large datasets.
• Ability to assess risk and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate complex wholesale energy transactions to price and structure them for internal and customer needs.
• Identify and respond to emerging market opportunities.
• Monitor market developments, entrants, counterparty activity, and regulatory proposals.
• Develop models to price risk management products and forward prices.
• Liaise with clients to support business goals.
• Use approved AI and automation tools to enhance analysis and workflows while protecting information.
