Job summary

S&P Global Inc. is seeking a Commodity Specialist in New York. You will be a client-facing SME supporting price assessments, methodologies, and analytics used by global energy participants.

You will drive product adoption and client retention, translating insights between clients and the Research/Editorial teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance or Economics and 5 years in energy/commodities consulting, including 3 years with Platts tools, API delivery, and MOC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; five years of energy/commodities consulting experience.
• Three years of experience must include applying economic theory to market behavior, Platts Excel Add-In and API delivery, and MOC processes.
• Experience with Salesforce and energy data tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a client-facing SME to support price assessments, methodologies, and analytics.
• Drive product adoption, client retention, and revenue growth.
• Act as a liaison between clients and Research/Editorial teams to translate insights.
