Job summary

Energy Exemplar, a leading SaaS provider of energy modeling platforms, seeks an Energy Market Analyst to support customers from discovery to sign-off. You will understand customer pain points, tailor platform demos, and design deployment strategies aligned with client priorities.

The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years in modelling and simulation tools, is fluent in Spanish for LATAM, and brings strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to deliver impactful demos and presales

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 2–4+ years of experience in modelling and simulation tools.
• Experience in technical support or solutions engineering within a SaaS company.
• Fluent in Spanish to support LATAM market.
• Energy or power industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs, success metrics, and process gaps through discovery sessions.
• Design and deliver impactful product demos highlighting value of EE products.
• Use modelling skills to develop and validate solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Provide expert technical support to prospective clients through presales process.
• Craft tailored solution and deployment strategies to meet customer needs.
• Create and refine training materials to improve sales teams’ product knowledge and demo skills.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing to influence product strategy.
• Respond to technical inquiries and relay customer feedback for internal resolution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new technologies for strategic insights.

About the Position

As an Energy Market Analyst at Energy Exemplar, you will play a pivotal role in supporting customers from initial discovery to final sign-off. Your responsibilities will include understanding customer pain points, consulting on requirements, tailoring platform demos, and designing deployment strategies that align with their priorities.

The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and support to our clients on best practices and current trends within LATAM power markets, leveraging technical modelling skills.

• Identify key customer needs and requirements, success metrics, and process gaps through comprehensive discovery sessions.
• Design and deliver impactful product demos that highlight the value of EE products.
• Utilize modelling skills to develop and validate solutions, ensuring they meet customer requirements and industry standards.
• Offer expert technical support to prospective clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the presales process.
• Craft tailored solution and deployment strategies to meet customer needs.
• Create and refine training materials to improve the product knowledge and demo skills of sales teams.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing to influence product development and strategy.
• Respond to technical inquiries and frame customer feedback for resolution by internal teams.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to provide strategic insights.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in a technical support or solutions engineering role within a SaaS company.
• 2-4+ years of experience in modelling and simulation tools.
• Must be fluent in Spanish to support LATAM market.
• Previous work experience within the energy and/or power industry.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to deliver impactful demos.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
