Job summary

DNV Energy Systems North America Columbus Technology Center seeks a Laboratory Technician to conduct cutting-edge corrosion and mechanical testing. You will evaluate material behavior in environments like hydrogen, CO2, and H2S to support decarbonization research.

The role is based in Dublin, OH and onsite. You will set up experiments, collect data, and help design test setups while following safety and quality procedures; training provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Support applied research to assess material compatibility and performance in a wide range of simulated operating environments.
• Setup and run laboratory experiments, including handling pressurized equipment/gases and chemicals (some environments may be hazardous) with safety training provided.
• Collect data; analyze test specimens using photography, microscopy, balances, calipers.
• Design/procure test materials and coordinate machining jobs.
• Follow established safety and quality procedures; provide input on test set-ups; inspect, test, repair/troubleshoot, and install equipment; adhere to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Assurance programs.
