Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Materials Engineering or Chemical Engineering (related science) with corrosion lab experience.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics and be trainable in practical aspects of the job.
• Physically able to perform the work required.
• Some field sampling requiring travel to onshore/offshore facilities and platforms.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, examine, and log inbound items for testing.
• Deliver test samples to the sample staging area.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Prepare corrosion coupons and microbiological media for experiments.
• Conduct corrosion testing and measure rates via electrochemistry.
• Maintain logs, control charts, calibration records, and worksheets.
