M.C. Dean, Inc. in Virginia is seeking an Energy Marshal to lead electrical energy isolation programs for large-scale MEP systems in mission-critical datacenter environments.

You will serve as the technical authority on-site for electrical operations, coordinating with construction, commissioning teams, and safety leads to ensure safe energizations and compliance. The role requires deep MV/LV knowledge, LOTO and absence of voltage verification experience, and proven leadership under tight

Competenze

• HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of field engineering experience in mission critical facilities and electrical infrastructures.
• Knowledge of MV (>1000V) and LV (<1000V) power distribution SOP.
• Understanding and ability to isolate potential energy sources and perform absence of voltage verifications.
• NFPA 70E knowledge and certification.
• Hands-on startups, LOTO, and absence of voltage verification experience.
• Leadership experience in the electrical field, preferably overseeing Commissioning.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical one-lines, and construction drawings.

Mansioni

• Lead electrical energy isolation program management at the site for MEP energy.
• Audit the energy isolation process during construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations.
• Coordinate energizations/de-energizations with other energy marshals and stakeholders.
• Lead pre-energization and energization kickoff meetings for first-of-kind energizations.
• Review commissioning plans and specifications related to energization of equipment.
• Advance electrical safety improvements and implement the site Electrical Safety Plan.
• Coordinate LOTO and outage requests with Safety, GC, Client, and vendors.
