Job summary

UI in Orange, CT is seeking an Analyst - DG to analyze and improve the Distributed Energy Resources interconnection process, coordinating with customers and engineering services. The role blends field and office work and reports to the Manager – Projects Units in the Projects group.

You will drive process improvements, manage interconnection applications from start to finish, and support budgeting, invoicing, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Five years of analytics experience is required.
• Strong quantitative skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed with initiative and leadership ability.
• BS/BA in an analytic field or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central point of contact for DER applications across engineering, operations and all departments.
• Analyze and implement improvements to cycle time, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve moderately complex interconnection issues.
• Work toward a best-in-class DER process.
• Review interconnection agreements and coordinate operations to meet obligations.
• Assist in budget preparation, monthly cash flow and variance analysis.
• Prepare invoicing for interconnection projects.
• Provide regular performance metrics for the group.
