• 6+ months of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or private equity
• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
• Experience with power, renewables, utilities, infrastructure or energy transition sectors is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing all facets of the group’s mandates
• Conduct industry research and analysis to identify opportunities
• Prepare client proposals, pitches, and execution of mandates
• Develop and audit sophisticated financial models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within CIBC Capital Markets
• Lead industry comparables and precedent analyses
• Support senior colleagues and mentor Analysts
