Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of civil engineering experience in energy, utilities, or land development.
• EIT required; PE preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with utility projects (National Grid, National Fuel Gas, etc.).
• Strong collaboration and communication; able to meet deliverables and deadlines.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design site layouts, grading, utilities, drainage, stormwater, and erosion control.
• Develop plans, calculations, estimates, reports, and construction documents.
• Support permitting initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead environmental assessments and permitting efforts with agencies.
• Provide support for electric, gas, and telecom utility design and EM&CP.
• Oversee construction progress and ensure safety and plans adherence.
• Coordinate tasks with scope, schedule, and budget; maintain records.
• Prepare proposals and cost estimates for renewable energy and utility projects.
