Job summary

Orrick is seeking a Business Development Associate Director for Energy & Infrastructure, based in any US office. You will partner with senior leadership to shape go-to-market strategy, build client relationships, and convert market opportunities into high-value mandates.

In this senior role, you will lead BD priorities, drive revenue growth, oversee proposals and pitches, and coordinate with Communications, Events, and market intelligence to strengthen the firm's market position across energy

Qualifications

• 10+ years of marketing experience in BD and marketing for the E&I sector.
• Deep understanding of technology clients’ needs at all development stages.
• Strong client service orientation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Set BD priorities and plans; lead strategy development and execution.
• Drive revenue through client targeting, pipeline management, and key accounts.
• Oversee tailored proposals and pitches for energy-sector matters.
• Lead thought leadership and external positioning with Communications.
• Oversee events and sponsorships; evaluate ROI and follow-up.
• Partner with Market Intelligence to translate insights into BD strategies.
• Develop and manage a high-performing BD team and coach partners.
• Define and track KPIs for client growth, pitch success, and market positioning.
