Job summary

Orrick seeks an associate with at least one year of M&A experience to join its Energy & Infrastructure M&A team, a part of a global practice serving energy and infrastructure, including renewables, power generation, oil & gas, and data centers.

This position offers flexibility for candidates to live in any U.S. city with a strong preference for Houston, Austin, San Francisco, New York, or Washington, D.C., and emphasizes training, mentoring, and deal experience.

Qualifications

• At least one year of M&A experience.
• Excellent academic credentials and superior communication skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of the state where the candidate will be located is required.

Responsibilities

• Join Orrick's Energy & Infrastructure M&A team to work on sophisticated M&A transactions across energy and infrastructure sectors.
• Collaborate on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and corporate transactions.
• Contribute to training, mentoring, and development within the team.
