Job summary

ENGIE North America is seeking a Forecasting Solutions Analyst II in Houston for a one-year fixed-term contract. The role supports pre-deal data processing, forecasting improvements, and data-driven insights across markets. Hybrid work is available, with focus on data quality, platforms, and stakeholder collaboration.

The position requires a degree in a related field, 2+ years energy industry experience, and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of energy industry experience.
  • Ability to deliver time-sensitive work products for internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to respond to dynamic requirements from internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the pre-deal load data processing queue for assigned markets within SLAs.
  • Improve customer experience by delivering accurate forecasts through optimization and synchronization of processes.
  • Develop understanding of the assigned market and platforms used by the team.
  • Procure historical load data and utility attributes, assist with data acquisition automation.
  • Set up, evaluate, and process account and usage data using validation tools.
  • Review completed deals for accuracy and issues based on guidelines.
  • Support creation and maintenance of internal documentation.
  • Support post-deal maintenance of customer attributes and load data.
  • Support development, testing, and execution of platform and process testing.
