Job summary

The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office is seeking a proactive Energy Consumer Liaison for the Energy & Ratepayer Advocacy Division. The role focuses on outreach, education, and engagement with communities across the Commonwealth to support affordable, equitable energy policies and informed participation in regulatory processes.

The hybrid position requires strong communication skills, the ability to coordinate trainings and public events, and a commitment to serving diverse communities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate events and conduct trainings.
• Willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts and work in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trainings and presentations to the public on energy topics and programs.
• Represent ERA at public events and meetings to advance the office’s mission.
• Coordinate meetings with community leaders and stakeholders to gather input.
• Draft public-facing summaries of ERA’s positions for stakeholders.
