Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking an Energy Engineer to join our Anchorage office. We are looking for a self-motivated, technically strong mechanical or electrical engineer with at least four years of engineering experience who enjoys solving complex problems and collaborating across disciplines.

The successful candidate will contribute technical expertise to multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, operators, clients, and other project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with experience performing engineering calculations, analyses, and design.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel periodically.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Interest in developing project management and team leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technical expertise to multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, operators, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Perform detailed engineering for various project types across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to develop and execute plans.
• Prepare clear technical reports, engineering documents, proposals, and project execution plans.
