Job summary

Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. is seeking an Energy Engineer II to support energy analyses, facility assessments, commissioning, and whole-building energy modeling as part of our Energy & Sustainability team.

The role involves growing technical and project leadership, coordinating with clients and internal teams, and delivering client-ready reports with strong analytical foundations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years energy efficiency, performance contracting, commissioning, or related consulting.
• Experience with energy modeling tools: eQuest, EnergyPro, TRACE or EnergyPlus.
• Experience analyzing HVAC, lighting, controls, and building systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ASHRAE energy audits with senior staff support.
• Perform whole-building energy modeling using standard tools.
• Carry out field inspections and evaluate building systems.
• Identify energy-saving opportunities in HVAC, lighting, and controls.
• Evaluate renewable energy opportunities and feasibility analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and client-ready deliverables.
• Review submittals for technical accuracy and integrity.
• Manage small projects and defined workstreams with schedules.
