Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking an Energy Engineer II to join our team in a hybrid role with remote and on-site engagement. You will work closely with Energy Engineers and Account Managers to achieve energy savings goals and represent our client with professionalism.

Daily tasks include conducting energy assessments, compiling documentation and energy calculations, and reviewing incentive calculators for prescriptive measures.

Qualifications

  • Apply engineering principles and provide defensible calculations for program work.
  • Perform ASHRAE level II audits.
  • Develop IPMVP-compliant M&V plans and reports.
  • Develop tools and calculators for use in programs; provide technical oversight.
  • Provide design recommendations for prescriptive projects and develop training materials.
  • Review filings and evaluator documents for technical accuracy and sound engineering practices.
  • Utilize software for energy simulation projects with HVAC systems.
  • Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks.
  • Analyze energy consumption data, identify trends and develop optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Create energy calculations and energy savings estimates.
  • Review incentive/energy savings calculators for prescriptive measures with oversight.

Job Description

To join our team as an Energy Engineer. This will be a combination of remote and in-person engagement where you will work closely with other Energy Engineers and Account Managers within the utility program to attain energy savings goals and provide excellent representation of our client. Typical daily responsibilities of the role will include (but are not limited to): independently conducting Energy Assessments (with an Account Manager); compiling associated documentation and energy calculations; completion and review of incentive/energy savings calculators (prescriptive measures) for accuracy and completeness. The Energy Engineer II is an active role allowing for and encouraging continuous growth and learning opportunities, both in the program and CLEAResult.

  • Utilize software for projects with increasing complexity, such as reviewing energy simulation projects for buildings with complex HVAC systems
  • Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks
  • Analyze energy consumption data, identify trends, and develop strategies to optimize energy usage, Identify, lead, and qualify custom/M&V projects
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…
  • 2-10+ years’ experience
  • BS Engineering degree or graduate degree & combined experience
  • US FE/EIT - preferred
DOT Requirements

Compensation Range

$65,700.00 - $98,600.00

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
