Job summary

Clayco is seeking an Energy Marshal to oversee and manage the energy program on complex construction sites across North America. You will ensure safe, compliant use of all energy sources, support operations, safety, and environmental teams, and lead testing and commissioning efforts.

A strong electrical background is essential, with NEC and NFPA 70E expertise, MV/HV system experience, and 10–15 years in large ME P projects. Travel will be required to project sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 10+ years in electrical trade.
• NEC knowledge and NFPA 70E certification preferred.
• 10–15 years’ experience with MEP systems and hazardous energy management on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the energy program to ensure compliant energy use on site.
• Conduct audits, prepare testing documents, and coordinate energization with QC.
• Train teams on energy program requirements and site safety.
• Develop commissioning sequences and testing plans with the Commissioning Manager.
• Manage site LOTO program and report progress to management.
