Job summary

You will educate clients, architects, and engineers on innovative technologies and approaches. You will collaborate with our Building Performance Practice team to apply design and analysis methods, learn new software tools, and contribute

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering (or commensurate degree and experience with building systems).
• Fundamental understanding of building systems and at least one discipline such as HVAC, plumbing/piping, electrical, lighting, instrumentation and controls, or building envelope systems.
• Familiarity with high-performance design tenets including renewable/alternative energy, daylighting, indoor environmental quality, and life cycle assessment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate building and system design strategies using building, CFD, and daylight simulation tools.
• Document performance against accepted standards and educate clients, architects, and engineers on new technologies and innovative solutions.
