Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, thermal/fluid systems, motors, lighting.
• 5+ years in energy efficiency or building efficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines/budgets.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Willingness to travel locally up to ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to commercial/industrial customers, utility clients, and program staff.
• Perform energy audits and retro-commissioning studies to identify energy-efficiency measures.
• Develop and maintain technical analysis/calculators for energy efficiency measures.
• Provide timely technical feedback and manage customer expectations.
• Champion energy efficiency and propose solutions to barriers.
• Support utility programs to achieve energy savings goals.
• Produce high-quality deliverables (reports, spreadsheets) with limited QC.
• Forge and maintain strong client relationships.
