Job summary

Ecosystem is seeking a Project Design Engineer to help transform energy use in buildings. You will contribute to energy audits, data analysis, and design of custom energy-efficiency solutions, aligning with client goals and environmental targets.

You’ll collaborate across teams to implement concepts from audits through to construction and performance validation, with a strong emphasis on innovation and practical applied theory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or physics engineering.
• 2–4 years of project design experience.
• Ability to problem-solve and apply practical theory.
• Strong ability to integrate expertise, intuition, and collaborative teamwork.
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills, with ability to draft reports and engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in energy audits, data analysis, and custom solution design.
• Develop energy-efficiency measures addressing client goals.
• Conduct technical site surveys and contribute to concepts, plans and specs.
• Manage energy and financial data, support the construction team, and ensure outcomes.
• Encourage learning, experimentation, and boldness to innovate.
