Job summary

Maryland Energy Advisors is seeking a capable Project Coordinator to support the execution of energy efficiency programs from start to finish. You will work with the program manager, teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure tasks are completed, documentation is accurate, and communication flows smoothly.

Ideal candidates are tech-savvy, organized, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in energy/related field.
• Based in New Jersey or eligible to work in NJ.
• At least 1 year of professional work experience in energy efficiency or related programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support the operations of residential energy efficiency programs and ensure smooth delivery and positive customer experience.
• Track, monitor, and report project status and KPIs for internal and client reporting.
• Maintain forecasts, dashboards, and performance data to support progress toward goals.
• Provide day-to-day support to field staff and subcontractors, coordinating assignments and resolving questions.
• Communicate proactively with subcontractors, customers, and internal teams; troubleshoot barriers and elevate issues.
• Assist onboarding and ongoing engagement of subcontractors and strengthen industry relationships.
• Identify process improvements to boost operational efficiency and quality.
• Maintain organized program documentation and ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties to support program operations and organizational goals.
