Job summary

SLSCO, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee in-home energy efficiency projects, audits, and quality control for HOMES and HEAR programs.

You will monitor installations across foundations, basements, crawlspaces, and mechanical systems, collaborating with subcontractors and program teams to ensure compliance and timely delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction, strong leadership and communication, and certifications such as BPI or RESNET.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
• Minimum 2 years in quality control/assurance, energy efficiency, or related field a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of safety standards is essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively to different job sites.
• OSHA 30hr certification.
• Certification as a BPI Building Analyst, RESNET HERS Rater, or equivalent; or ability to acquire within 60 days.
• Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager.
• Inspect jobs per approved policies, plans, and change orders.
• Ensure safety compliance and report unsafe conditions.
• Manage documentation and timely submission of records.
• Perform residential site visits to verify HVAC, insulation, and building envelope installations.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and program team to address deficiencies.
• Travel to multiple job sites as needed to oversee projects.
• Maintain QA/QC findings and ensure program integrity.
