Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking engineering interns to support our commercial and industrial programs, helping customers use energy more efficiently and learn how the utility sector is evolving with efficiency and electrification. You will collaborate across internal and external teams, sharing technical information effectively.

Ideal candidates are current students pursuing engineering degrees, with interest in data analytics and thermodynamics, and able to commit to a hybrid work schedule including

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Engineering degree at an ABET‑accredited college or university.
• Interest in data analytics and thermodynamics will help in internship tasks.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) and part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) in person per hybrid policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist program implementation and review customer projects.
• Support team members and work on key process improvement initiatives.
