Job summary

CLEAResult in Michigan seeks engineers to lead technical work in energy efficiency programs. A BS in Engineering or higher is required, with expertise in at least one engineering technology. You will provide guidance to both technical and non-technical teams and prioritize safety in all tasks.

The role includes ASHRAE Level II audits, reviewing energy simulations for code compliance, and contributing to safety committees. DOT qualifications may apply, depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Provide technical guidance and training to technical and non-technical team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead important and complex technical work in programs with minimal supervision.
• Identify, lead, and qualify custom/M&V projects (including evaluator interaction).
• Perform ASHRAE level II audits unassisted at large commercial/industrial facilities.
• Review energy simulation files for compliance with energy codes and program requirements.
• Provide QA/QC of engineering work products.
• Meet DOT qualification requirements and comply with transportation regulations, when applicable.

Job Description

BS Engineering degree or graduate degree & combined experience

• Become a recognized subject matter expert in at least one engineering technology
• Provide technical guidance and training to both technical and non-technical team members related to technologies & calculations
• Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks
• Contribute to Engineering & Company-wide Safety Committees
• Lead important and complex technical work in our programs, independently and with minimal technical supervision.
• Identify, lead, and qualify custom/M&V projects (including evaluator interaction)
• Perform ASHRAE level II audits unassisted at large commercial and industrial facilities
• Review energy simulation files for compliance with energy codes and program requirements
• Provide QA/QC of engineering work products
• If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
