Job summary

The RISE Group Inc in the Northeast is seeking an Associate Energy Engineer to identify and verify energy efficiency opportunities in commercial, industrial, and multifamily buildings, working under a senior engineer.

You will assemble data from site visits, manufacturer information, and plans to scope and quantify savings, develop energy analyses, and support financing and incentives to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with interest in energy efficiency.
• One-year experience writing technical reports.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload under general direction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inspect cost-effective energy efficiency opportunities in commercial, industrial, or multifamily buildings.
• Develop energy savings analyses, cost estimates, and reports for recommended improvements.
• Arrange financing and incentives to support improvements with utility-sponsored initiatives.
• Assemble data through site visits, manufacturer information, and plans to scope and calculate savings.
