Buoyant is seeking an Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our growing team in Des Moines, IA. This role involves supporting energy efficiency projects, conducting energy analyses, and writing technical reports.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering, project experience, and strong communication skills. Competitive salary range is $60,000-$90,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, retirement plan, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work with technical staff.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a personal vehicle for site visits.
• Interest in sustainability and making a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Support energy efficiency projects including energy modeling and economic analysis.
• Conduct energy analysis for medium to large facilities.
• Write technical reports summarizing project economics.
• Perform measurement and verification site visits.
• Assist project stakeholders to maximize utility program benefits.
