Job summary

Chugach Electric Association is seeking an experienced Economic Analyst to apply economic, financial, and quantitative methods to regulatory and business challenges in Alaska. The role involves forecasting, data analysis, and preparing reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

You will manage analyses, support regulatory filings, and contribute to strategic planning. A bachelor’s degree in economics or related field and 3 years of relevant experience are required, with preference for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business or related discipline required.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in a comparable role required.
• Experience in a union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex economic and financial analysis, including proforma, net present value, discounted cash flow and forecast modeling.
• Prepare short and long-term load and sales forecasts for budget and planning.
• Prepare documents and reports to support regulatory filings and audits, and present findings to leadership.
• Support regulatory activities and strategic business planning with quantitative analyses.
