Qualifications

Salary Range

$83,000 - $98,000 annually

Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.

Primary Role Responsibilities
  • Design utility right-of-way erosion and sediment control plans, grading, environmental assessments, and stormwater planning and inspections.
  • Prepare designs, calculations, cost estimates, reports, permit applications, construction plans, and specifications.
  • Design Environmental Management & Construction Plans for electric utility projects.
  • Work with clients and regulatory agencies to facilitate permit approval.
  • Handle site layout, grading, stormwater management, utilities, drainage, and permitting issues.
  • Oversee construction to ensure conformance to plans and safety standards.
  • Design site utility services for electric, natural gas, and telecommunications.
  • Develop proposals and cost estimates for renewable energy, oil & gas, and utility projects.
  • Maintain accurate project records.
  • Coordinate with reviewers and team members for quality assurance.
  • Assist project managers and engineers proactively.
Requirements
Education & Experience
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred).
  • 5-10 years of engineering experience in the Energy sector.
  • EIT required; PE preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office and AutoCAD preferred.
