Job summary

Dairyland Power Cooperative seeks an Energy Data Analyst Intern to turn energy and business data into clear reports. You will develop data models, dashboards and visualizations to illuminate performance, trends and decisions, leveraging Power BI and DAX.

Work largely with structured and unstructured data, build semantic models, and collaborate to gather requirements. This internship emphasizes learning, accuracy and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in data analytics, information systems, business analytics, data science, statistics or related field.
• Experience developing reports or dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.
• Foundational knowledge of relational data, data tables and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards/scorecards for energy, financial and operational analysis.
• Develop clear data visualizations to help users understand trends and performance drivers.
• Connect, clean, transform and organize diverse datasets from multiple sources.
• Create DAX measures and KPIs reflecting business definitions and reporting requirements.
• Present dashboards and findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.
