Job summary

Haffner's, a regional fuel distributor in New England, is seeking a customer service professional to deliver outstanding support to customers by phone, email, and in-person visits. You will handle delivery issues and technical questions end-to-end, using scripts and SOPs to ensure accurate information and timely resolution.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in customer service, with 1 year in heating/energy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Heating and Energy sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding, positive customer service to Haffner’s customers via telephone, email, and lobby visits.
• Handle delivery, service, and technical support issues from start to finish.
• Research inquiries using approved scripts and SOPs; escalate when needed.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing customers by promoting company products and services.
• Maintain documentation for new and existing customers; update records in the company system.
