Dow Jones Energy is seeking an Associate Director - Consulting to lead bespoke research projects across energy and petrochemicals. You will own project execution from Houston, manage teams, and mentor staff while collaborating with clients and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in the sector, deep industry knowledge, and strong analytical and PM skills. A chemistry/engineering background with a science/business postgraduate degree is a plus.

Qualifications

10+ years in energy, refining or petrochemical industries or related consultancy.
Proven track record leading consulting projects.
Deep understanding of energy, petrochemicals, markets, and pricing.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Engineering/chemistry degree or equivalent work experience.
Postgraduate degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own projects executed from Houston and ensure timely delivery.
Manage consultancy project team and cross-regional members for smooth execution.
Leverage internal/external SMEs for in-depth analysis.
Support consulting directors and senior management on projects.
Mentor analysts and consulting team to complete tasks successfully.
Interface with clients and present study findings.
Assist in proposal writing and business development.
