Job summary

Moss & Associates, a national construction firm, is seeking a Manager, Energy Communications to lead internal and field communications for the Energy business unit. You will translate business priorities into clear, relevant messages for a large, geographically distributed workforce.

As a hands-on strategist and doer, you will manage communications products, editorials, and key leader communications while partnering with project teams, Safety, HR and Operations to ensure timely, accurate

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive communications experience.
  • Experience supporting distributed frontline workforce.
  • Background in construction, energy, or infrastructure preferred.
  • Ability to counsel leaders and build trusted relationships.
  • Exceptional writing and editing across audiences.
  • Experience managing leader and employee communications calendars.

Responsibilities

  • Lead internal and field communications across the Energy BU.
  • Manage recurring Energy communications and internal communications products.
  • Support and maintain the Energy BU editorial calendar.
  • Develop communications approaches for project and field teammates.
  • Develop leader communications, talking points, emails, and town halls.
  • Equip project leaders with practical communications tools.
  • Establish relationships to identify issues and stories across teams.
  • Partner with Safety, Operations and HR to coordinate campaigns.
