Job summary

Moss is seeking an Energy Communications Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, FL to craft and publish stories about Moss Energy’s people, projects and culture. You will turn technical milestones into accessible content for multiple audiences and collaborate with project teams nationwide.

The role supports internal communications, field storytelling and executive materials, with travel to project sites as needed to capture authentic moments and deliver high-quality work at pace.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, digital media or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of communications, content, journalism or related experience.
  • Excellent writing, editing and interviewing skills.
  • Ability to translate technical or complex information into clear content for nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and publish compelling content about Moss Energy's people, projects, culture and accomplishments across employee communications channels.
  • Support recurring Energy communications and internal communications products, including project spotlights and field stories.
  • Interview teammates, project leaders and subject-matter experts and translate experiences into authentic stories.
  • Engage with Energy project teams to identify milestones and opportunities for storytelling.
  • Travel to project sites to capture interviews, photos, and short-form videos.
  • Support leader communications including presentations, talking points and town halls.
