Exus Renewables North America is seeking a Commercial Analyst to handle back/middle office duties, focusing on settlement calculations, revenue reporting, and contract reviews. The role maintains revenue-centric models for investor reporting and invoicing while developing automation tools for process efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a business/finance background with 3 years of experience in M&A, FP&A, or Commercial domains and a solid command of Excel-based modeling and energy markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; finance or related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in M&A, FP&A, and Commercial domains; wholesale/retail power experience preferred.
• Experience with Excel-based modeling and analytics; strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ISO market operations and settlements (PJM, MISO, ERCOT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic settlement and invoicing activities under supervision, including shadow settlements and validation of final settlements for standard ISO, hedge, and REC contracts.
• Support communication with counterparties to align positions and elevate discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with Accounting on invoicing, payments, and revenue reconciliations for monthly reporting.
• Help communications with asset management clients and offtakers to understand market effects on project revenue.
• Verify ISO bilateral trade scheduling and support Day-Ahead/Real-Time scheduling execution.
