Job summary

Exus Renewables North America is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to handle complex back/middle office activities for the Commercial team. Core duties include settlements, revenue reporting, and contract review for tracking obligations, with models used for investor reporting and invoicing.

You will interact with external clients, perform market analyses, and present monthly results, while maintaining revenue models and ensuring accuracy in ISO and energy market operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 5+ years' of experience in financial or energy industries; back/middle-office support preferred.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and auditing complex Excel models.
• Proven competence in MS Excel-based modeling, financial planning and analytics.
• Knowledge of ISO market operations and settlements (PJM/MISO/ERCOT preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform shadow settlements; validate final settlements; communicate with counterparties; execute invoicing.
• Collaborate with Accounting on invoicing, payments, and revenue reconciliations for monthly reporting.
• Serve as a key contact for asset management clients and offtakers; translate market events into revenue explanations.
• Verify ISO bilateral trade scheduling and support Day-Ahead/Real-Time scheduling.
• Analyze, reconcile, and evaluate confirmations for accuracy and terms.
• Deliver investor reporting; investigate budget vs. actual variances and market analysis.
• Create, manage, and maintain revenue models for internal/external reporting and improvements.
• Explain and verify revenue calculation methodologies and financial impacts internally.
