  • 5–10 years of experience in the energy, power, utility, finance or energy infrastructure industry.
  • Direct experience reviewing energy contracts, commercial agreements, or energy transactions.
  • Experience reviewing energy commercial deals and deal structures, with an understanding of key commercial and financial terms.
  • Experience managing internal deal approvals, contract reviews, and signature/execution processes.
  • Strong analytical, financial, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze energy commercial deals and financial terms, supporting evaluation of pricing, costs, financial impacts, and overall deal structure.
  • Coordinate the internal deal approval process, ensuring approval materials are complete, accurate, and updated throughout the review process.
  • Work with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and commercial stakeholders to review contracts, resolve redlines and comments, and route agreements for approval and signature.
  • Support the commercial structuring and execution of energy transactions, coordinating with utilities, energy developers, power providers, and other external counterparties.
  • Track deal and contract milestones, approvals, financial requirements, action items, and dependencies across multiple concurrent transactions.
  • Coordinate NDAs, exclusivity agreements, statements of work, and other commercial documentation associated with energy projects.
  • Maintain accurate deal and contract information and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and leadership.

About the Role

Churchill Cost Consultants (Churchill) is seeking an experienced Energy Analyst with 5–10 years of experience in the energy, power, utility, finance, or energy infrastructure industry to support the Clean Energy and Power team for a Fortune 100 technology firm.

This role will focus on the commercial development, review, approval, and execution of energy transactions and projects. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing energy contracts and commercial deals, understanding commercial deal structures, coordinating internal approvals, and driving agreements through execution and signature.

Required Experience
  • 5–10 years of experience in the energy, power, utility, finance or energy infrastructure industry.
  • Direct experience reviewing energy contracts, commercial agreements, or energy transactions.
  • Experience reviewing energy commercial deals and deal structures, with an understanding of key commercial and financial terms.
  • Experience managing internal deal approvals, contract reviews, and signature/execution processes.
  • Strong analytical, financial, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with PPAs, energy procurement, utility agreements, power generation agreements, or other energy-related commercial contracts.
  • Experience working with utilities, energy developers, independent power producers (IPPs), power providers, or energy service companies.
  • Experience with renewable energy, natural gas, BESS, on-site generation (OSG), microgrids, substations, transmission and distribution, or other power infrastructure.
Additional Requirements
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
