Franklin Energy is seeking an Energy Auditor I to provide on-site energy assessments for small business tenants, building owners, and utility customers in North Carolina. You will advise on electric and gas system improvements, install energy efficiency devices, and help clients participate in rebate programs through clear, professional communication.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent, knowledge of energy efficiency designations, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• Residential building construction or HVAC install/service experience preferred.
• BP I Fundamentals or above certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote energy efficiency programs through energy assessments.
• Work with building owners to facilitate participation in programs.
• Deliver high-quality services to utility customers.
• Perform on-site energy assessments and identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Install energy-saving devices and explain rebates to clients.
