Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking an EAS Finance Assistant to report to the EAS Finance Manager. Responsibilities

• Supports the EAS Finance Manager, participating in fiscal planning for the EAS program
• Prepares, analyzes and reviews financial reports for direct EAS bill payments, using generally accepted accounting principles
• Issues checks, records payments to client accounts or organizational ledgers, and assists with compliance auditing of payment requests
• Verifies and pays invoices, executes checks, reconciles balances and maintains records
• Sets up and maintains vendors or suppliers in the accounting systems
• Helps maintain data completeness and quality of financial data
• Perform other duties as assigned
