Job summary

FirstService Energy is seeking an experienced energy advisor to lead energy management and decarbonization initiatives for multifamily and residential communities across the United States and Canada.

You will serve as the primary contact for energy clients, coordinating with internal teams to ensure procurement, reporting, and service delivery while driving measurable energy and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Building Science, or a related field.
• Hold one or more industry certifications: CEM, EBCP, CBCP, LEED O+M, or BPI Multifamily.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional subject matter expert for energy management and sustainability initiatives.
• Analyze utility data and building consumption to identify savings opportunities.
• Conduct on-site assessments and propose energy/water efficiency upgrades.
• Develop energy reports with savings estimates and ROI analyses.
• Present findings to property managers and board members, including evening meetings.
