We are seeking innovative and motivated individuals interested in assisting businesses with advanced energy management strategies and navigating the energy transition. Ideal candidates are self-starters and entrepreneurs committed to providing top-tier energy advice to companies facing complex challenges such as market volatility, reliability issues, and aggressive carbon reduction targets.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and develop potential clients through outreach, cold calling, and networking. This role focuses on hunting new business opportunities.
  2. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, foster long-term partnerships, and ensure customer satisfaction and renewals.
  3. Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their energy needs, risk tolerance, and how our services can best support them.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  5. Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, clearly communicating the benefits of our energy products and services to potential clients with an executive presence.
  6. Negotiation and Closing: Address client concerns effectively, overcome objections, and close sales to meet revenue targets.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams such as operations and management to ensure a seamless customer experience and align sales strategies with company goals.
  8. CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools like HubSpot to track leads, manage accounts, and optimize the sales process.
What you'll bring:
  • At least 3 years of experience in the energy industry (retail gas/electricity, sustainability, solar, demand response, etc.) or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of B2B outside sales experience.
  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Ability to work independently with high autonomy while contributing to a team-oriented sales environment.
  • Resilience, determination, and a passion for sales success.
  • Effective collaboration skills within teams and independently driving initiatives.
  • Ambition, passion, teamwork, and grit.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
Compensation:
$75,000 - $175,000 a year
Base Salary: Typically ranges from $75,000 to $175,000 annually, with potential for higher compensation based on experience and skills.
Commission Structure: Uncapped commissions, with top performers earning significantly above the base salary.
Compensation packages are tailored to individual backgrounds, expertise, and goals, emphasizing a collaborative approach.
