Job summary

Universal Energy Solutions is hiring full-time Account Managers to join our Houston team, serving sales throughout the local area. You’ll review electricity and natural gas supply plans, present supplier options, and recommend solutions that fit customer needs, primarily managing existing relationships while growing the portfolio.

Expect paid training, coaching, and career development with commissions on new and existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting relationships with existing residential customers.
• Support customers through future renewals and ongoing energy needs.
• Prospect for new clients by meeting face-to-face.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help consumers identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend energy supplier options based on each customer’s needs.
• Develop new business opportunities between customer appointments.
• Build and grow your own portfolio of commercial accounts.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30-mile radius of the office).
