Job summary

Mach Industries in Victorville, CA seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day manufacturing of energetic materials, propellant mixing, and hazardous chemical processing. You will oversee technicians, drive the production schedule, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with approved processes.

The ideal candidate balances schedule, quality, and safety in aerospace/defense environments, scales production capacity, and develops frontline talent while maintaining traceability

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in aerospace, defense, energetics, chemical processing, propulsion, or high-reliability manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a leadership role such as Production Supervisor or equivalent.
• Experience with controlled chemical processing and safety-critical production processes.
• Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO 9001 or similar quality mgmt systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities for energetic materials manufacturing and propellant processing.
• Supervise and develop technicians to improve execution, safety, and accountability.
• Balance production schedules with labor, materials, and equipment readiness.
• Enforce procedures for handling hazardous and reactive chemicals with EHS partnership.
• Verify training, PPE, and pre-task safety reviews; exercise stop-work authority when unsafe.
• Ensure work follows instructions, process specs, batch records, and change control.
• Maintain material and batch traceability, genealogy, and configuration control.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve constraints and sustain safe flow.
• Oversee in-process verification, quality holds, and corrective actions.
• Promote 5S, labeling, housekeeping, and incident/near-miss reporting.
