Job summary

The Salvation Army Omaha Kroc Center is seeking energetic Fitness Instructors to teach safe and engaging multi-level fitness and aerobic classes in aquatics and land formats for guests and staff.

The role emphasizes excellent customer hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to lead groups while maintaining safety standards. A minimum of a high school diploma and CPR/First Aid certification is required, with Zumba certification preferred.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required; Spanish language skills helpful.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Excellent customer hospitality and ability to mentor guests in classes.
• General safety guidelines knowledge for group fitness.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe and effective multi-level fitness and/or aerobic classes.
• Enforce center rules to provide a safe environment for all.
• Operate and maintain fitness facilities, equipment, and supplies.
