Job summary

The Salvation Army Omaha Kroc Center is seeking energetic instructors to teach multi-level fitness and aerobic classes in aquatics and/or land formats for guests and staff. You will promote safe, engaging programming and provide excellent hospitality in a Christ-centered environment.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or GED and a fitness-related certification, with CPR/AED/First Aid current or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certification or education in at least one area of the fitness field required.
• Working knowledge of general safety guidelines for group fitness required.

Responsibilities

• Enforce center rules to ensure a safe environment for all participants.
• Provide quality service and mentoring in fitness classes to promote welcoming, well-attended programs.
• Operate facilities, equipment and supplies safely and effectively.
• Assist in safeguarding facilities and equipment used for fitness programs.
