Job summary

The Salvation Army Omaha Kroc Center is seeking energetic and relationship-oriented individuals to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role focuses on teaching safe, multi-level fitness and aerobic exercise classes in aquatic and land formats for guests and staff, promoting health, fitness, and wellness in a Christ-centered environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, fitness certification, and CPR/AED/First Aid within 90 days.

• English proficiency required; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Enforce center rules to provide a safe environment.
• Provide quality service, leadership and mentoring to guests in classes.
• Safely operate facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety systems for facilities and equipment.
• Maintain equipment inventory and cleaning in the instruction area.
• Keep maintenance records and notify coordinator of repairs.
• Follow TSA emergency procedures and document accordingly.
• Attend scheduled team and staff meetings.
• Maintain certifications and meet in-service requirements.
• Participate in community events and outreach as directed.
