Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Warehouse Worker to join our distribution team. You will participate in all functions of distribution and receiving, verify products, assemble and fill orders, stock incoming orders, and maintain accurate inventories.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi task.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures including but not limited to security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management ie cleanliness safety concerns or security concerns.
