Job summary

La Viva Tex Mex is seeking two outstanding bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced bar environment at our restaurant. You will prepare craft cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, and specialty beverages with accuracy and speed, while engaging guests with hospitality.

Ideal candidates are friendly, energetic, and dependable, with a passion for tequila, cocktails, and guest experiences. TABC certification is required or obtainable, and you should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year bartending experience preferred.
• Knowledge of classic cocktails and margaritas.
• TABC certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare craft cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, and specialty beverages with accuracy and speed.
• Engage guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant with genuine hospitality.
• Create an energetic, welcoming bar atmosphere.
• Maintain full knowledge of our drink menu, tequila/mezcal selection, and featured cocktails.
• Support servers by preparing bar drinks quickly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar at all times.
• Monitor guest consumption and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing bar duties.
• Work as a team with servers, kitchen staff, and management to deliver an outstanding guest experience
