Job summary

Staffing Studio in Byfield, MA is seeking a dedicated nanny to care for a 19-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome. The role centers on creating a supportive, engaging routine with exercise, activities, and 1:1 interaction, building a warm bond with the young adult.

Hours are flexible: Mon-Thu 2:00-6:00 or 12:00-6:00. A large bedroom over the garage allows for a live-in option for the right person. CPR/First Aid certification and energy are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with special needs care preferred.
• Up-to-date CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Cheery and Helpful Disposition with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe and stimulating environment for a 19-year-old with Down Syndrome.
• Facilitate activities, maintain family schedule and 1:1 engagement.
• Transport to bus stop, walks, indoor/outdoor activities, and housekeeping tasks.
• Support daily routine, care in all appropriate aspects, and age-appropriate games.
