Staffing Studio is assisting a Byfield family in finding a caregiver for their 19-year-old daughter who has Down syndrome. The role centers on a structured schedule with 2:00pm–6:00pm shifts, lots of exercise, activities, games, and 1:1 engagement to build a warm, supportive bond.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of special needs care, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication. A live-in arrangement is possible for the right person, with a flexible but set schedule and energy for an

Hello Caregivers!

A loving family in Byfield is looking for a special needs focused caregiver for their 19 year old daughter who has Down Syndrome. We are looking for a caregiver who has experience with and/or is welcome and accepting to working with young adults who have special needs. The position will primarily involve keeping her on a regular schedule involving lots of exercise (must be comfortable with long walks), activities, games, 1:1 engagement. She could really benefit from having a nanny to bond with and look up to, so we are hoping for someone that wants to get to know her and provide a warm and loving friendship. The family also has a 15 year old son who will may be present but self-sufficient other than an occasional pick up from the bus stop if needed. The position can be flexible with hours based on the right person's needs. Candidates with lots of energy and a love for music preferred!

**Family has an additional large bedroom over their garage and would be open to a live-in caregiver for the right person!

Hours: 2:00pm-6:00pm 2 afternoons per week. Family is flexible but prefers a set schedule of two days between Monday and Thursday.

Charges: 19 year old daughter

Hourly Rate: $30.00

Start Date: Onboarding starts immediately
